Yesterday was the Pink Day ... and we worked together to finish things due on Friday.
Friday we had a short quiz and handed things in. See the Due Date on the right.
I usually start the next part of the play, but students needed a bit more time than I thought to finish the quiz, so we watched some of the Ultimate tournament going on outside the portable until everyone was done.
I put the D2L Link on the right hand side of this blog for the unit after DWWOTF.
I also let people know a little bit more about the Culminating Activity for this course. Students are to pick an issue that they are going to be facing moving into the future and to do some research on it and report back using a "presentation of information".
This issue may or may not necessarily be related to the text(s) we have studied in this course. Up to this point we've done only Dead White Writer on the Floor. This is a very rich text for ideas to use as a topic to research and report back to the teacher on.
However, students may also use the notes on "Adulting" that we co-created in the first unit.
